    Saudi Crown Prince and US President hold official talks in Jeddah

    At the Al-Salam palace in Jeddah, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, met with US President Joe Biden. Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the American President also chaired an expanded meeting for the two sides. A number of aspects of cooperation between the United States and Saudi Arabia were discussed, as well as the historical friendship relations between them. Discussions also focused on how to confront regional and global challenges.

    Saudi Crown Prince and US President hold official talks in JeddahThe official talks session and the expanded meeting were attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy; Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard; Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America (accompanying minister); Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Minister of State, Cabinet’s Member and Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet’s Member and Envoy for Climate Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir. From the U.S. side, they were attended by Secretary of State Antony Blinken; National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and a number of other officials.
